LNG MASTER

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Meets the competency standards as listed in STCW Table A-II/2.
  • Ensures and demonstrates the ability to assess the vessels position relative to weather conditions, navigation hazards, other vessels and any other hazardous conditions and to act on significant concern to vessel safety and operation.  
  • Has thorough knowledge of USCG and international regulations such as MARPOL, SOLAS, SIGTTO / ISGOTT, Classification Society and flag state requirements, in particular the merchant shipping acts applicable to the vessel, requirements regarding personnel management and discipline, articles and associated documentation.

  • Troubleshooting, repairing, and performing routine maintenance on Electrical and Pneumatic, Sensors, Controllers and final Control Elements
  • Independent identification and troubleshoot of process control issues and suggesting, selecting and performing corrective recommendations in order to optimize automation systems.
  • Apply National Electric Code and follow all Chevron 1389A safe work practices.

  • Serve as member of federal lobbying team with primary responsibility for Downstream issues.  Lobby congressional offices/committees, federal agencies, and associations. Able to engage and lobby on multiple issues simultaneously.

SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Provide local process engineering expertise for various processes including Crude and Vacuum Distillation, Alkylation, Solvent De-asphalting, Reforming, Hydrogen Manufacturing,  Amine/Sour Water, and/or Hydro-processing Units. Support requires answering technical inquiries, making technical recommendations, providing process troubleshooting, and developing process procedures.
  • Participate in unit optimization teams to work on short and long term process improvement opportunities.
  • Develop procedures and support for commissioning of new facilities.
  • Facilitate agreements on operating philosophies and control strategies on plant units.
  • Network with other subject matter experts in other facilities to leverage shared expertise.
  • Carry out various studies to improve plant safety, reliability, and economics.
  • Help identify gaps between current performance and best-in-class and recommend opportunities for improvement.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
  • A minimum of 8 years of process engineering experience in the refining industry. 
  • At least 5 years’ experience in an operating oil refinery.

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Work with customers (typically application support teams) to troubleshoot performance issues and perform packet analysis to identify root causes of performance issues.
  • Perform pre-deployment analysis for IT projects and MCPs using network packet data to identify/predict application performance and remediate performance, if needed.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve performance issues (i.e. Network, DCA, IRSM).

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
