PROJECT MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the direction of the Director, Design performs project management functions for the design phase of assigned capital projects requiring civil engineering capability in accordance with specific and general directives and established procedures. Oversees engineering design, bid evaluation, contract administration, project scheduling, coordination, inter-utility coordination, quality control, field decisions and supervision to ensure projects are completed within the stipulated time and allocated budget. Reviews requested modifications to the facilities. Develops in-house designs by preparing plans and specifications. Prepares plans, provides required data for specifications, and cost estimates for assigned projects. Performs cost estimates and projections for projects. Schedules and conducts design progress meetings. Prepares records required for federal or state reimbursement. Insures that construction contracts are in compliance with applicable federal and state equal opportunity legislation. Provides support to Construction Project Manager to address design issues discovered during construction. Coordinates activities with outside agencies to assure timely completion of all projects. Utilizes electronic tools including CADD system, and other computer systems. Compiles and analyzes technical data and prepares reports concerning project related activities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:





·         Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
·         Five to ten (5-10) years of progressive US design and construction experience at major hub airports in the US.
·         Knowledge and understanding with a variety of projects as well as project delivery methods (i.e. design-bid-build, design-build, and construction manager at risk).
·         A track record in risk management, conflict resolution; must have excellent communication skills and be proficient in various Project Management Software Systems.
·         PMP certification is preferred
ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION:
·         Responding to client requests for proposals and other ongoing project information
·         Coordinating and/or scheduling field services activities; and related miscellaneous tasks as needed
·         Supporting Louis Berger Project Managers to ensure that projects are completed according to contract scope of work and specifications
·         Interact with internal accounting staff in the preparation of timely monthly invoices to ensure proper project billing

JOB DESCRIPTION:
·         Responsible for designing and coordinating the technical aspects of projects.
·         Requires extensive regular contact with assigned project Clients’ technical staff.
·         Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

·         Managing Traction Power Supply System construction works
·         Ensuring all actions are performed according to the guidelines and regulations of the project (drawings, method statements etc.)

·         Monitor the implementation of the project management systems by both of PMCM and D&B contractor, and its effectiveness, through document reconciliation and other appropriate means, liaising closely with the appropriate Senior Project Manager and construction personnel.
·         Initiate actions to eliminate inconsistencies and to achieve the acceptable quality standards.
·         Assisting construction personnel to develop the required quality documentation.

SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION:
·         Responsible for the overall review of mechanical, HVAC, plumbing works, LV and fire protection submittals in a timely and accurate manner conforming with the design requirements of the contract and local design standards.
·         Ensure full coordination with other disciplines on all CS activities including submittals review, inspection and testing, etc.
·         Implement processes related to regulatory approvals that include civil defense requirements.
·         Participate in the prequalification of local or regional subcontractor firms.
·         Monitor the implementation and review results of the Contractor’s inspection and testing, and quality assurance program.
·         Liaise with client representatives, contractors, site engineers and sub-contractors on issues related to mechanical construction works.
·         Attend coordination meetings with project team, client, contractors, sub-contractors and other stakeholders.
