JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Assist executive management with creating, communicating, and implementing the organization’s vision, mission, and overall strategy for Major JV Projects.
  • Works with executive management and the Project Controls teams to enhance the shareholder value through exceptional pre-construction efforts and project execution excellence. 
  • Provide decision making support to the management team regarding ongoing performance of JV partnerships on major projects. Review monthly financial and operations reports and liaise with partnership level executives on various projects. 
  • Coordinates client requests and ensure timely responses. Assists JV teams by serving as liaison to all parties involved in JV Projects to coordinate smooth flow of communications and information.   
  • Responsible for the profitability and success of JV Projects.   Focuses on complex, high value added work with revenues of more than $150 million that will yield margins greater than 8%. 
  • Drives productivity gains and cost-cutting to achieve JV profit targets.  Develops strong financial and business acumen among JV leaders and partners, company JV staff and company accounting and operations personnel. 
  • Assists with business development and estimating efforts to win large, heavy/civil bridge construction projects in line with Company and Board of Director’s objectives.   This would include assisting the business development executive with potential client meetings, reviewing bids, estimates, and budgets as well as any procurement strategy, and establishing margin & contingency expectations. 
  • Attracts dynamic “A players” and forward thinking followers to drive optimum levels of effectiveness on JV Projects.  Works closely with Human Resources to identify key future talent and to train existing employees regarding their developmental needs. 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from four-year College or University; and 15 to 20 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.  




COST ACCOUNTANT

Location: United States of America
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Prepares and reconciles intercompany cost transfers and associated billings
  • Prepares and reconciles monthly pre-paids and accruals
  • Performs profit recognition on multiple companies during closing
  • Assists in the preparation of financial projections
  • Account Reconciliations
  • Monthly reporting and distribution
  • Preparation and distribution of cost center statements
  • Insurance Analysis

ESTIMATOR

Location: United States of America
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Perform full quantity take-offs on projects.  Assist others in preparation of take-offs. 
  • Complete bid pricing on projects up to $50M with a focus on bridge structures consisting of suspension bridges, girder bridges, movable bridges, complex structures and other structural steel and concrete structures. 
  • Complete component pricing of bridge structures on projects ranging from $500M to $2B+ 
  • Solicitation of all required subcontractors and suppliers on each project.  Ability to identify scope and delineate lines of responsibilities for subcontractors and suppliers. 
  • Develop bid schedule for internal purposes and CPM schedule for submission with bids as required. 
  • Responsible for cash flow analysis, buy/sell equipment analysis, developing risk register and proposal writing 
  • Must have the ability to translate conceptual design, project drawings, CPM schedule, and technical specifications of a bridge, marine, or complex construction projects in to full-scope cost estimates with accurate cost forecasting.
  • Utilizes existing cost history, estimating software (HCSS, Blue Beam, P6, AutoCAD, etc.), and other resources to perform the company estimating function.  
  • Analyses alternative solutions and construction methods to increase competitiveness of bids.

HELPDESK TECHNICIAN
Location: United States of America
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • ·Provides technical assistance and support for incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail, and in-person requests from employees experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies.
  • Interviews user to collect information about problem and leads user through diagnostic procedures to determine source of error.
  • Maintains help desk ticketing system.
  • Determines whether problem is caused by hardware such as, printer, cables, or telephone.
  • Handles problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up for routine user problems, referring more complex problems to supervisor or technical staff.
  • Logs and tracks calls using problem management database, and maintains history records and related problem documentation.
  • Prepares standard statistical reports, such as help desk incident reports.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Associates degree or Certificate in Information Technology or Computer Technology and 1-5 years’ experience in a Helpdesk capacity or equivalent combination of education and experience.  The position requires a high aptitude for hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR
Location: United States of America
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Answer/direct incoming calls and take messages as necessary
  • Open and distribute all incoming mail to Project Staff and package/distribute outgoing mail
  • Keep Project Directory, Master File Index, and Subcontractor Index updated and current
  • Maintain and update job site files to include progress reports, tracking sheets, logs utilizing the Aconex document control software.
  • Maintain office supplies/equipment, ordering and scheduling maintenance as necessary
  • Assist Staff in project closeout responsibilities, including archiving of files.
  • Become familiar with and utilize Field and Job Cost Procedures
  • Maintain office supplies
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • No education necessary. 10+ years clerical/administrative experience in the construction industry is preferred.



PROJECT ENGINEER
Location: United States of America
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • The Project Engineer position will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager on the planning and scheduling of the Tappan Zee Bridge Technical Controlled Dismantling project located in Tarrytown, NY.
  • Responsibilities will include but not limited to development of work plan drawings, Structural Design and Drafting utilizing AutoCAD, and development and execution of project plans.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent combination of education and/or experience 
  • 5-7 years of bridge and/or structural experience. 
  • Responsible to learn construction practices as required for compliance with federal, state, and local codes; industry standards; company procedures; contractual requirements; etc. 
  • Assists the Project Manager with required documents and information to support the successful completion of construction activities•Serves as resource for project specifications, procedures, relevant portions of contract, etc. 
  • Attends construction project meetings and safety meetings as assigned
SENIOR ESTIMATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Responsible for cash flow, buy/sell of equipment, develop risk register and proposal writing
  • Responsible for management of JV relationships and comparison sheets
  • Must have the ability to translate conceptual design, project drawings, CPM schedule, and technical specifications of a bridge, marine, or complex construction projects in to full-scope cost estimates with accurate cost forecasting.
  • Recommends to Chief Estimator if a project bid should be submitted and pursued. When a project is selected to bid, must oversee the estimating process to ensure that a competitive, profitable bid is submitted on behalf of the organization.
  • Able to manage and coordinate in a Joint Venture environment all aspects of bid comparison & bid closing
  • Utilizes existing cost history, estimating software (Hard Dollar, HCSS, Primavera, etc.), and other resources to perform the company estimating function. •Analyzes alternative solutions and construction methods to increase competitiveness of bids.
  • Possesses thorough knowledge of company procedures, estimating techniques, engineering means and methods, materials, construction techniques, and services.
  • Leads teams to develop initial project plans and project execution schedules.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with joint venture partners, consultants, subs, and suppliers.
  • Reviews project cost reports, estimating systems, and procedures.
  • Establishes various union district rate files for labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Conducts post bid reviews.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from four-year college or university; and 12+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. A Master of Business Administration (MBA), and/or a Master’s Degree in Engineering is preferred, but not required



TREASURY MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Understand, manage, and supervise all aspects of cash flow.  
  • Forecast daily cash requirements and execute daily financing decisions.  
  • Manage all aspects of In-house investment portfolios. 
  • Direct, monitor and trade investment portfolios including Working capital, High-Yield, Escrow, and other portfolios.  
  • Manage long-term and short-term investment strategies.  
  • Determine the Company’s goals and risk tolerance.  
  • Determine the Company’s tax position and the applicability of taxable/non-taxable instruments.

  • Experience with Treasury Banking, Cash Management, Cash Forecasting and Cash Banking 
  • Knowledge of treasury software expertise  state, and local codes.
