MANAGER - NETWORK AND COMMUNICATIONS
Location: Dubai
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The position will be responsible for the design, tactical delivery and 24x7 support of the LAN, Network Security, WLAN, WAN, Radio and Telephony systems and services. They will manage, operate and provide level 3 & 4 support to the network and communication infrastructures. They will provide Subject Matter Experts to the Project Management teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of infrastructure projects. They will engage with the major stakeholders and work with the Business Technology teams to ensure the network and communication systems and services strategy and delivery meet the current and future needs of all customers, partners and stakeholders. They will establish and implement standards, policies and procedures pertaining to the management, security, maintenance and use of the network and communication systems and services.
The position will be responsible for transforming the existing network and communication teams into a more efficient and highly skilled section with optimized and controlled Total Cost of Ownership.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree Level or minimum Bachelor’s Degree holder in Computer Science or Computer Engineering field.
  • Basic Cisco & Juniper Certifications,
  • PMP, ITILv3 Foundation qualifications would be preferable




MANAGER – DATABASE
Location: Dubai
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • The purpose of the role is to build, manage and maintain the Database platform for all Dubai Airports business systems, in compliance with Business Technology strategy (secure, resilient, scalable, etc.) to support the operational needs and business growth for all internal stakeholders.
  • The position will work with and provide assistance to all system owners to ensure a consolidated, centrally managed and cost effective database platform operation. They will manage, operate and provide level 3 & 4 support to the database platform on 24x7 basis. They will provide Subject Matter Experts to the Project Management teams and system owners to ensure timely and quality delivery of relevant projects. They will also be involved in helping technical and non-technical people to best use of the database through direct training or training manuals.
  • The position will be responsible for transforming the business from legacy on premise solutions to cloud solutions such as DBaaS whenever possible. They will establish and implement standards, policies and procedures pertaining to the management, security, maintenance and use of the Database.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:


  • Degree Level or minimum Bachelor’s Degree holder in Information Technology
  • PMP, ITILv3 Foundation qualifications would be preferable




ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE
Location: Dubai
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the architecture, design, and ongoing architectural support for DA Business Technology and ensuring the confidentially, integrity, and availability of all corporate assets. The role will be responsible for the design and architecture of solutions as well as responsible to oversee & ensure solutions are implemented in accordance with DA Business Technology objectives. This position requires regular communications with development teams, Operations teams and business teams. Solutions are to be designed, configured, integrated, tested, and deployed in compliance with corporate objectives. This role will oversee the tactical architecture across Dubai Airports and Al Maktoum Airport.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The job holder should be educated to degree level in Engineering or Computer Science and should be certified in Industry Standard Certifications such as TOGAF. Other advanced architecture certifications are highly desirable.




TRAINING & SAFETY MANAGER
Location: Dubai
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • The post holder will support the CFO to ensure that the performance of the Airport Fire Service (AFS) meets the needs of Dubai Airports (DA) and its key stakeholders through provision of an effective and regulatory compliant service.
  • The post holder has direct responsibility for Recruitment, Initial Acquisition and provision of the Maintenance of Competence Scheme, (MOC’s), to ensure that all AFS personnel maintain both competence and skills as agreed with the GCAA.  Developing, implementing and embedding quality assured theoretical training and practical exercises within day-to day activities. Identifying opportunities to drive efficiency through use of technology, eg, computer based training.
  • The post holder will have delegate responsibility of training, setting associated standards & policy, internal audit, administration within the applicable IT systems and safety governance to ensure the AFS continuously demonstrates Fire and Aviation compliance.
  • The post holder will strive to develop best practice, organisational strategy and exploring opportunities for joint working with our stakeholders in order to deliver efficiency and effectiveness.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Holder of relevant GCAA approvals as a Competent Manager in the Fire Service and have proven training background.
  • Nebosh Diploma, (or equivalent), in Safety Management as minimum.
  • Train the Trainer accreditation or suitable equivalent.
  • ICAO qualification in support of developing ICAO based training materials.
QUALITY ASSURANCE AND TESTING
Location: Dubai
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The role will be responsible for the testing and quality assurance of Business Technology solutions as well as responsible to oversee & ensure solutions are fit for purpose in accordance with DA Business Technology objectives prior to them going live. This position requires regular communications with development teams, Operations teams and business teams. Solutions are to be tested in compliance with enterprise architecture, business strategy and requirements, and that they are aligned to corporate objectives. This role will oversee the tactical testing and quality assurance of Business Technology across Dubai Airports and Al Maktoum Airport.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • The job holder will be educated to degree level in Engineering or Computer Science and should be certified in Industry Standard Certifications for testing and quality assurance.
SPECIALIST
Location: Dubai
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Oversee end user management of contracts across entire lifecycle, generate system based report to monitor compliance to milestone as per the contract. Review performance against contract KPIs and SLAs for the milestone or as per the schedule mentioned in the contract.
  • Monitor and report contractual performance, highlight areas of non-complaince to L3 Contract Management.  Create report on contract performance issues, action plan and  supplier progress for DA senior managemen  on qauterly basis ( or as per agreed frequency)
  • Execute contract extensions/ amendements based on approved contract amendment justification from End User and L3 Category Management. extensions, notices and claims processes.
  • In case of persistent supplier non-performance execute penalty clause as per the contract after received confirrmation from End user and DA legal team, work with the legal team to send notice to the suplpliers and initiate claims processes (if requried)

CATEGORY SPECIALIST
Location: Dubai
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • The Specialist will provide inputs in developing category strategy/plans, assign requisitions to Category Associate Specialists and execute strategic sourcing and monitoring operational sourcing
  • Support the development of multi-year category strategies and plans to achieve maximum lifecycle value from assigned spend categories
  • Review requisitions submitted by end users and required information to enable sourcing is available. Request clarifications from end users if adequate information is not available.
  • Define and execute sourcing strategies in close collaboration with the business stakeholders for the respective spend categories
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The position holder will have a Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, or in a related field, based on the categories managed and a professional Procurement qualification
