ENGINEERING MANAGER
Location: MALAYSIA
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Processes for the Project from start of FEED
  • Provide the engineering expertise to ensure that the East Cendor design developed during FEED and epCIC phases is safe, reflects good oilfield practice, complies with the established codes, standards and specifications, can be delivered within the Malaysian supply chain and is operable and maintainable.
  • Act as custodian of Design Engineering Assurance Processes for the Project
  • Act as the focal point for Petrofac assurance requirements from either IES or Group
  • Ensure that the suite of Engineering Codes, Standards, Specifications and Practices assure Asset Integrity and Process Safety requirements of project deliverables
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry. At least 5 years should have been spent leading an engineering team in an EPC environment with project value in excess of USD200m. Consideration will be given to candidates who have the total experience in the oil and gas business but not necessarily only on offshore projects.
  • Educated to degree standard preferred with Bachelor of Science degree in related engineering discipline, ideally chemical engineering. Preferably having professional engineering status or membership of a recognized professional body in the quality area.




QUALITY MANAGER
Location: MALAYSIA
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Able to establish a Quality Management System (QMS) for the Project that will cover all aspects of the project from FEED through to Introduction of Hydrocarbons. This QMS will establish the quality expectations required by PMY – as owner and Operator - and which the contractors/consultants will be required to meet. It will also include audit plans for the multi-year project.
  • A detailed knowledge of the requirements of FEED and Detail Design in the context of the key quality objectives to be achieved during the engineering and procurement phase.
  • Significant experience in managing the transitional aspects of quality assurance when moving from the FEED, detail design phase into manufacture, fabrication and installation phases and the key relationships required with the Quality Control functions.
  • Detailed experience in development of QA Plans for offshore projects in particular for the owner that apply to all phases of the EPCIC projects offshore.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • ensuring installation integrity, reliability, availability and maintainability of electrical and control equipment are optimised, so that production targets can be achieved
  • coordinating with operations personnel for planned and corrective maintenance of electrical and instrument equipment
  • ensuring, by audit, that all switching of LV and HV is in accordance with operational procedures, safety principles, legal requirements and that all registers are maintained accurately

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must have previous experience as an Electrical Engineer preferably in the Oil & Gas industry. Applicants should have extensive experience of electrical maintenance, with emphasis on electrical power generation and control system maintenance. Candidates should be educated to HND level or equivalent standard in an Electrical discipline, we would also expect candidates to be a member of a relevant professional engineering institution (IEE, InstMC). Current offshore survival and medical would be desirable.




INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • performing servicing, condition monitoring, fault diagnosis and restorative maintenance on field instrumentation and local control panels; process control equipment; fire and gas systems; safety equipment and systems; metering equipment and telecommunications systems
  • implementing planned maintenance programmes
  • diagnosing and rectifying faults to maximise equipment availability, identification and ordering of spares

MECHANICAL TECH

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • complete preventative and remedial maintenance in accordance with schedule and work instructions, with particular emphasis on safety critical activities
  • carry out fault finding and diagnostic checks on all site equipment, ensuring any repairs are addressed promptly
  • respond to breakdowns in a timely manner and carry out and apply effective fault finding and investigation techniques
  • carry out major services, overhauls and intrusive maintenance on site equipment
  • carry out and participate in Root Cause Analysis to improve equipment reliability
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate will be educated to Level 3 VQ in Maintaining Plant Systems or equivalent and will have successfully completed a recognised apprenticeship.  The candidate will also have previous industrial experience working in the oil and gas industry as a Mechanical Technician and have good knowledge of the Permit to Work system.
MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

  • liaising with site Supervision to plan, schedule and control activities of maintenance teams, associated support and vendor personnel
  • leading multi-discipline Deck Crew to ensure heli-deck, boat handling and general deck duties are carried out in accordance with procedure

  • assisting senior technicians in the identification of forthcoming work 
  • ensuring all shutdown work orders are resourced and necessary permits are in place, materials are checked and available, access requirements are identified and available and operations are able to release equipment when required
  • Specifying electrical material data requirements for non–stock materials using NMNR system. Ensure sufficient technical specification so that buyers/suppliers can clearly provide unambiguous quotes and purchases
