MAINTENANCE PLANNING AND SCHEDULING

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Manage and lead a team in the effective delivery of maintenance planning and scheduling
  • Validate and analyze plans, schedules and programs prepared by the team and seek ways to minimize cost, increase productivity and improve quality
  • Monitor performance and appropriate key performance indicators, track progress and prepare reports regarding the status of work scope and activities
  • Support and advise for development and implementation of SAP master data (functional locations (FLOCs), equipment, Bill of Materials (BOMs), Materials Masters, Work Centres, etc.)
  • Provide input into the development of area-specific procedures and standards
  • Participation in cross-functional teams to improve performance when a need is identified
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Three or more years of experience working in oil and gas or a similar industrial environment
  • In-depth experience and understanding of maintenance/outage planning and scheduling concepts
  • Trade certificate, diploma or degree in a relevant technical field (e.g. Engineering) or equivalent technical and operational experience
  • Planning/scheduling courses would be an asset
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

ELECTRICIAN, MAINTENANCE MOBILE EQUIPMENT
Location: CANADA
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Execute maintenance activities including installation, troubleshooting, and repairs to all systems and equipment to a high quality to ensure optimum reliability and availability (the systems and equipment include electrical safety systems, motor starters, large medium voltage frequency drive systems and PLCs, 13.8KV/ 7.2KV / 600 V / 480 V and 220 V power distribution and computerized control systems)
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on all types of heavy and auxiliary equipment, as required
  • Support in the removal and replacement of major components (engines, transmissions, wheel motors, etc.)
  • Safely operate company-provided equipment and vehicles
  • Actively participate in post-event failure analysis and root cause discussions, and contribute to developing solutions
  • Ensure that preventative maintenance guidelines are adhered to and maintain complete and accurate records associated with the technical and preventative aspects of this position
  • Troubleshoot, repair and test high voltage trailing cables
  • Review and apply a continuous improvement mindset to safe work practices, procedures, and standards to ensure safe and reliable work execution
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Two or more years of post-apprenticeship experience maintaining mining heavy equipment
  • Two or more years of experience on P&H 4100BOSS A/C electric cable shovels and Komatsu A/C ultra-class electric haul trucks
  • Valid Alberta Journeyman Electrician Certificate or an Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Electrician Certificate ; attach your journeyman / red seal ticket with your application in order to be considered

PLANNER SCHEDULER, MAINTENANCE

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Support the maintenance and operations of Fort Hills' assets by performing maintenance activities safely, efficiently, and to a high quality to ensure optimum reliability and availability
  • Develop an effective maintenance plan, modify the plan for variations due to availability of resources due to operations, actual work completed or additional work requirements
  • Prepare routine job plans and investigate work requirements, prepare logical breakdowns of work and sequence associated tasks, taking into account multi-craft alignment
  • Develop detailed work plans covering information, procedures and standards for maintenance activities in respective area
  • Maintain and continuously improve job plans and associated SAP data (Strategies, Bill of Materials (BOMs), Work Centres, Plans, etc.)
  • Maximize resource productivity by identifying and coordinating the supply of parts, materials, special tools, external services and rental equipment while preparing relevant documentation

PLANT OPERATOR
Location: CANADA
JOB DESCRIPTION:
·         Perform associated plant operations duties to ensure a smooth and efficient operation in the assigned work area
·         Prepare and complete daily area logs and communicate significant changes and findings to the shift supervisor
·         Provide direction and supervision to the maintenance and contract personnel performing maintenance and other operational duties during the assigned shift
·         Prepare equipment for maintenance including hazardous energy isolation of equipment and commission new equipment and systems
·         Ensure that shift change is well communicated and maintain housekeeping for the assigned area
·         Adhere to environmental requirements
·         Ensure the safety of personnel working within the assigned area and ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) and other policies are followed during operations
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
·         Two or more years of plant operations experience in ore prep and/or extraction within heavy oil and/or sour gas processing
·         Experience with industrial plant operations in heavy oil processing, sour gas processing, conveyors, pumps, and/or compressors is preferred
·         Experience with some of the following equipment is considered an asset: material sizing plants (sizers or crushers), conveyors, surge bin or dry surge pile, rotary wet screens (breakers or tumblers), pumps and pipeline, primary recovery circuit (separation cells), secondary and tertiary recovery circuits (flotation columns or agitators), thickeners or clarifiers, and qualified to operate loaders and skid steers (certified on any size)

SHIFT SUPERVISOR

JOB DESCRIPTION:





  • Ensure air and water discharges from the refinery are within limits and document any unit upset or out-of-compliance events and notify management accordingly
  • Communicate with operations personnel on moves to be made to get back into compliance
  • Monitor the overall production from our refinery and coordinate changes when necessary in order to meet targets
  • Organize work flow for the current shift to ensure smooth operations, timely maintenance repairs and on-target operations
  • Assist with operator training performance evaluations
  • Manage any on-shift collective bargaining issues that may arise
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the operating personnel so policies, rules, regulations and procedures are consistently followed
  • Schedule operating resources to ensure adequate staffing for safe and reliable operation
  • Manage call outs to the maintenance department when emergency repairs to equipment are needed
  • Function as the initial incident commander in the event of an emergency

INVENTORY ACCOUNTING

SENIOR TRADER

·         Contribute to our BFOE/cash trading strategy and extract the full value from our North Sea production and make significant profit and financial contributions
·         Participate in the Dated Brent market and all associated Brent derivatives, Brent futures and West Texas Intermediate (WTI)/Brent markets
·         Help market other equity crude streams in the North Sea and East Coast Canada to ensure the best netback to our exploration and production (E&P) teams
·         Purchase for our Canadian refinery system and add to optimization strategies when required
·         Develop and improve trading strategies around our asset base to add to further value and increase our physical flow of barrels of oil

CONSTRUCTION COORDINATOR

  • Accountable for all of the field construction management which include adherence to the oil sands health and safety program

ANALYST, MINE SYSTEMS

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Assist in the design and configuration of the mining network infrastructure to support the mine dispatch, machine guidance, and mobile equipment monitoring systems to ensure the systems meet the specified requirements
  • Support the mining systems and applications after installation, ensuring that they are operating efficiently and effectively to improve their value to the operation
  • Maintain network infrastructure and software, solve network concerns and coverage issues as they arise
  • Coordinate with different business units to ensure overlapping Fort Hills and base mine systems are aligned
  • Coordinate vendor and site contractors to execute operations of broadband wireless network infrastructure
  • Generate radio frequency engineering-related reports in Excel, Access, and SQL, as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
·         A minimum of five years of experience in design, deployment and maintenance of large-scale wireless and wired networks in an industrial or commercial setting
·         Experience with running virtualized hosting environments and applications is considered an asset
