INTERPRETATION SPECIALIST
Location: Saudi Arabia
JOB DESCRIPITION:
  • High pressure and high temperature experiments in the laboratory to quantify the effects of injection water chemistry with or without other EOR agents on rock-fluids, fluid-fluid interactions and oil recoveries.
  • Conduct water analysis tests using various laboratory instruments. 
  • Analyse and interpret the data to support the development of analytical models and reservoir modelling. 
  • Coordinate laboratory activities and be responsible for maintaining laboratory/research notes, technical reports, graphs, and data acquisition
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for operation of experimental systems and acquire MOC (Management of change) for new installations to support the team
  • Train younger staff on the safe use of instruments and maintenance/calibration of laboratory equipment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • The successful candidate should hold bachelor degree in engineering/science, preferably in petroleum engineering, earth sciences, and analytical or physical chemistry. MSc or PhD is desirable. 
  • Must have minimum of 9 years’ experience directly related to typical enhanced oil recovery (EOR) laboratory research and support. 




RESEARCHER IN DRILLING TECHNOLOGY
Location: Saudi Arabia
JOB DESCRIPITION:
  • Conduct a research to provide new technologies and solutions to the challenges faced by Saudi Aramco Drilling & Work over stakeholders. The research is related to the focus area of advanced drilling tools
  • Originate ideas for new inventions in the field resulting in Saudi Aramco assigned IP.
  • Provide expert advice and assistance on operating problems relating to the area of your expertise
  • Specify design criteria and relevant operating parameters for development of Bl's and/or new projects within your area of expertise.
  • Participate in project technical reviews and reviews proposals for new or changed operating procedures on his area of expertise to ensure efficient and economic operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • The successful candidate should hold a bachelor degree in engineering/science, from a recognized and approved program. MSc or strong skills in mathematics or computer science is desirable.
  • Must have a minimum of 15 years’ experience, out of which at least 10 years of drilling engineering experiences. Fewer years of experiences will be looked into if candidate has strong background or experience in automation and development of drilling advisory systems.
GEOPHYSICAL CONSULTANT
Location: Saudi Arabia
JOB DESCRIPITION:
  • Conduct fundamental and innovative research for conventional and blended seismic acquisition
  • Perform forward modelling studies. 
  • Introduce automation and robotic applications to develop cost effective field survey configurations.
  • Act as a technical advisor to exploration and field development teams and assist in training the less experienced geophysicists through discussions and work sessions.
  • Translate concepts into numerical modules using scientific programming and high-performance computing aspects. 
  • Work in teams and to mark new territories in data acquisition technology development.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

RESERVOIR SIMULATOR CODE DEVELOPER

JOB DESCRIPITION:
  • Write reservoir simulator code in modern computer programming languages, debug existing codes.
  • Write new mathematical algorithms for nonlinear and sparse linear solvers.
  • Write and debug parallel codes for Reservoir and Basin simulators.

  • Have a strong understanding of capital markets, investment banking and financing vehicles across the corporate capital structure. 
  • Develop comprehensive cash flow forecasts for the corporate group, including detailed modelling and sensitivity analysis.
  • Significant interaction with executives across the investment banking community, as well as executive management. Experience in managing a large number of multifaceted relationships is critical.

JOB DESCRIPITION:
  • Provide guidance and oversight on best-in-class reservoir management tenets, practices and state-of-the art- technologies for all Saudi Aramco hydrocarbon assets.
  • Formulate reservoir development, data acquisition, strategic surveillance and monitoring master-plans to ensure optimal development and depletion strategies
  • Utilize reservoir management standards and guidelines to enhance both NPV and hydrocarbon recovery.
  • Lead, design and participate in integrated field reviews and field development plans.
  • Preparing reservoir engineering input into drilling and work-over proposals and programs. 
  • Recommend advanced completion techniques for horizontal and multi-lateral wells.
