GEOPHYSICIST

Location: Saudi Arabia

Job Description:
The successful applicant will work within a multi-disciplinary team to interpret seismic data both on regional and prospect scales in different tectonic regimes with 2D and 3D seismic data. The candidate should have thorough practical knowledge of seismic data acquisition and processing and must know all the limitations and pitfalls as a geophysicist. Alternatively, he/she should be conversant with thorough knowledge of sequence stratigraphic principles together with their integration into sediment logical analyses and log signatures as a geologist. In addition, the candidate should have good experience for well to seismic tie, horizon picking, mapping, velocity modeling, depth conversion and have the ability provide meaningful results using seismic attributes. The candidate’s ability to systematically organize and retrieve existing seismic data is highly required. The ability to timely and effectively generate new play concepts in frontier areas both in clastic and carbonate depositional environments is a must, with the addition of being able to produce high quality prospects as a plus.
Job Requirements:
  • As a successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor's degree in Geoscience, and a Master’s degree in Geosciences is preferred. 
  • Industry experience of 10 years is required including a minimum of 5 years as seismic interpreter for exploration and/or regional teams using Petrel.



DRILLING FOREMAN

Location: Saudi Arabia

Job Description:
  • Supervises and oversees all operations performed on Saudi Aramco wells on a 24-hour per day, 14/7 or 28/28 work schedule. 
  • Makes recommendations on alternative methods or equipment when unusual situations are encountered
  • Coordinates deliveries of materials to the well to ensure it is available when required
  • Ensures that contractor meets all requirements of his contract.
  • Works with Drilling and Work over engineers to see that modern drilling practices are followed. 
  • Approves contractor daily tour report. 
Job Requirements:
  • The successful candidate is required to have more than thirteen years relevant experience in drilling and work over operations including supervisory experience generally acquired by progression on a drilling or work over rig



DIGITAL ROCK SPECIALIST

Job Description:
Saudi Aramco is embarking on a program to develop its world-class resources and is seeking a professional experienced in microCT tomography and digital rock analysis. Of primary interest is experience with acquisition, QCing, and analyzing 3D microCT digital images to model internal rock fabric, structural, petrophysical, and physical properties in support of exploration activities. This position, based in Dhahran offers a unique opportunity to work in an operational environment on computational rock physics supported by an industry-leading laboratory and supercomputing resources. The successful candidate will also be familiar with wireline logs, and conventional and special core analysis data. MARKET RISK CONSULTANT

The candidate will be responsible for the risk oversight assessment, and measurement of market risks in a large corporate treasury environment covering areas such as foreign exchange interest rate exposures, counterparty risk and pension plan asset management and liability risks. PROSPECT GENERATOR

You are required to perform advanced sequence and stratigraphic analysis using G&G applications, and possess a detailed understanding of Rock physics, Rock typing, and Petro physics in carbonate environments. You will conduct advanced seismic attribute analysis, and have a proven track record in working on large well and seismic datasets. Other aspects of the role will require experience of sequence stratigraphic well correlation, sedimentary facies prediction, and expertise in seismic sequence stratigraphy. PIPELINE ENGINEER

Job Description:
  • Maintenance of pipeline protection system, and management of pipeline corrosion inhibition systems.
  • Manage pipeline pigging operations for flow assurance, corrosion prevention and integrity monitoring.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support to the Operation and Maintenance groups to troubleshoot and fix any encounter systems problems.
  • Review the engineering design packages for the new installation and upgrade projects.
  • Review project proposals and detailed design packages for new facilities.

CIVIL WATER TREATMENT ENGINEER

Job Description:
The Senior Water Treatment Engineer will design facilities for water treatment plants and wastewater treatment plants for Saudi Aramco communities including reverse osmosis water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plant head works, oxidation ditch wastewater treatment plants, membrane bioreactor wastewater treatment plants and sludge handling facilities. Design will be done both manually and using wastewater plant modeling and membrane software. The Senior Water Treatment Engineer will review major treatment plant project submittals and serve as mentor to train water treatment engineers in design facilities for water treatment plants and wastewater treatment plants. When required, he will give presentations on developing water projects.
