Job Description:
  • With minimal supervision, responsible for independently applying advanced engineering techniques and analyses for problems and methods
  • Provide technical guidance to drafters/designers and engineers
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in the design and construction of large infrastructure projects, preferably water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects, in instrumentation and controls

RESIDENT TECHNICAL OFFICER MECHANICAL

Location: Singapore

Job Description:
  • Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance to the Building Control Act as the Qualified Site Supervisor (RTO) on record for the supervision of the works
  • Work with the Superintending Officer and his representatives and be responsible for enforcing specification and code
  • Liaise with the discipline engineers on the review and approval of design calculations and drawings
  • Proactively provide periodic site progress updates
  • Define and oversee inspection and special testing requirement
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum Mechanical Diploma or equivalent experience (from BCA approved institutions)
  • Preferably registered with the BCA and accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore
  • At least 8 years of relevant engineering experience in the supervision of construction works, preferably water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the design and construction of large infrastructure projects, preferably water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects
  • Experience in handling public feedback will be advantageous

Job Description:
  • Carry out the duties and responsibilities as the Qualified Site Supervisor for mechanical works
  • Carry out construction and contract management works in accordance with PSSCOC and Contract Specifications
  • Provide direction for all field engineering, in alignment with the overall programme
  • Ensure consistent quality standard and conformance with design plans and specifications are maintained
  • Rule on all major technical and engineering issues and define appropriate inspection and testing requirement
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering (from University recognised by IES for registration as Mechanical Resident Engineer)
  • At least 10 years of relevant engineering experience in the supervision of construction works, preferably water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects
  • Able to understand design intent and make adjustments onsite based on site constraints

  • Must be confident managing other engineers and staff in an oil and gas Operations environment.
  • The position involves working in parallel with the facility engineering manager to oversee day to day operations as well as executing maintenance projects and related duties.

JUNIOR PIPING DRAFTER

Location: Canada

Job Description:
  • Prepare piping drawings including P&IDs, plot plans, equipment layouts, isometrics and general arrangement drawings using 2D & 3D CAD Software
  • Work with senior designers throughout the design development
  • Work with Mechanical and Pipeline Engineers developing detail design drawings Interface between disciplines such as Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil and Structural
  • Prepare Equipment, Line, and Valve Lists
  • Update drawings as required during the design process, ensuring they are checked, approved and filed in accordance with the relevant quality system procedure.
Job Requirements:
  • Two to five years drafting experience using AutoCAD 15
  • Experience with 3D design models would be an asset (CADworx)

  • Process modelling (including HYSYS modelling of oil and gas processes and hydraulic modelling with AFT Fathom)
  • P&ID development and P. Eng. stamping, studies, reports.

ENVIRONMENT MANAGER

Job Description:
  • Lead a small team on environmental assessment activities, provide client leadership and guidance developing environmental design solutions for nationally significant greenfield & brownfield infrastructure projects. 
  • Manage environmental consultant’s requirements in an effective manner, working collaboratively with client & project teams.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams & specialists to ensure high level integrated designs are achieved and sustainability is incorporated. 
  • Be a key client & stakeholder point of contact and an interface for consultants working on environmental impact assessments (EIA).
  • Review, appraise, audit environmental deliverables ensuring robust / compliant assessments & solutions are presented to all stakeholders including client & governing bodies.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in a relevant environmental/ built environmental discipline.
  • Membership of a relevant environmental/ built environmental organisation would be a plus (IEMA, SIAM, CIWEM).
  • Experience of managing environmental assessment (EIA) and design on large or complex infrastructure/ engineering projects.
  • Proven knowledge of EU and UK environment legislation and current best practice guidance.

  • Provide design assurance activities, reviewing contractors’ designs and NEC-3 Project Manager’s acceptance of contractors’ designs for the Main Work Contracts
  • Mitigate engineering risks with a thorough understanding of responsibilities under the CDM regulations (2015). Participation in design review workshops (including SWIFT, HAZOP, OPMAN and Interdisciplinary Reviews)
  • Maximising quality and value of design while minimising the project risk profile

Job Description:
  • Perform fieldwork independently
