FIRST OFFICER

Job Description:
  • Responsible for Safety and Security of the aircraft and passengers and Cargo on board, as far as his duties are concerned; and in the absence of the commander for any reason.
  • Maintain familiarity with Etihad’s Operations Manual as are necessary to fulfil his function both professionally and safely
  • Assist the commander as requested, concerning any administrative duties in relation to the flight
  • Support the Commander in the maintenance of a proper standard of crew discipline, conduct and personal appearance
  • Carrying out such duties concerning the flight in accordance with Etihad’s operating policies and procedures, as are allocated to him by the Commander
Job Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2500 hours total flying time.
  • A minimum of 1500 hours on multi crew, glass cockpit (1) or high performance military jet
  • 500 hours should be on one of the A320 Family.
  • ICAO current and unrestricted ATPL. We do not accept Frozen ATPL unless held by a UAE citizen.

SERVICE LOGISTICS MANAGER
Location: United Arab Emirates
Job Description:
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Service Logistics Department comprising of; large airside and landside operations. Including internal building logistics, provision of catering service of an aircraft, aircraft loading/offloading, vehicle movements both airside and landside, customer hand over and final sign off for goods and services provided and customer liaisons all in compliance with company policies standards and procedures.
  • Pursue operational excellence in developing and improving work methods and systems, increasing productivity, efficiency, quality, safety and service. Fully utilizing space, assets and labor within your remit.
  • Develop departmental budgets that will operate within the agreed constraints in terms of payroll, capital expenditure and operational expenditure whilst meeting all department key performance indicators.
  • Evaluate and conduct staff performance appraisals, termination, regulatory renewals, and promotions, in good time to determine development, training and resource requirements.
  • Continuously improve the performance and productivity of the Service Logistics Department by means of planning and audits, SOP review and briefings, ensuring cost, quality, service, safety and compliance exceed.

CAPTAIN NON-RATED

Job Description:
  • Being responsible for the safety and security of all crew members, passengers and cargo on board.
  • Being responsible for the operation and safety of the aircraft from the moment the aircraft is first ready to move for the purpose of taxiing prior to take-off until the moment it finally comes to rest at the end of the flight and the engine(s) used as primary propulsion units are shut down;
  • Familiarising himself with all applicable regulations, documentation and briefing materials for the intended route of flight, destination and alternate airfields. Additionally, the commander shall familiarise himself with both oxygen escape routes and terrain escape routes.
  • Having authority to give all commands he deems necessary for the purpose of securing the safety of the aircraft and of persons or property carried therein;
  • Having authority to disembark any person, or any part of the cargo, which, in his opinion, may represent a potential hazard to the safety of the aircraft or its occupants;
  • Ensuring that all crew comply with all operational checklists prior to, during and after all phases of flight operations, and in abnormal and emergency situations

Job Description:
  • Delivering Initial, Conversion and Recurrent Ground Training for all pilot simulator courses.
  • Delivering Initial and Conversion flight training for pilots on Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs).
  • Acting as Subject Matter Experts for the development and maintenance of Courseware to support all pilot training. This is significant to ensure we maintain relevant and compliant training material.
  • Administer company and regulatory ground examinations for Initial, Conversion and Recurrent Ground Training for all pilot courses.
  • Evaluating and documenting pilots performance during training. Ensure accurate progress reports are filed on trainee progress.
