Job Description:
  • Develop and deliver a strategic employee communications and engagement program for Shell Malaysia.
  • Work with colleagues across Shell Malaysia’s business lines to deliver communications which take account of the various businesses and functional needs.
  • Establish strong relationships as the principle business interface regarding the delivery of internal communications in Malaysia and act as a coach to senior leaders in terms of their delivery of internal communications.
  • Develop internal communications strategies and plans.

Job Description:

Reporting into the UK Downstream Communications Manager, this role will focus on providing communications support to the UK Downstream Business – a thriving part of the organisation which includes 1,000+ Shell-branded service stations serving five million customers per week, fuel supply and distribution to customers all over the UK including 8 major airports; and a growing future fuels business including hydrogen and GTL. Additionally the role will be responsible for promoting the UK University teams that participate in the Shell Eco-marathon at Make the Future London.

Job Description:
  • Identify, create and implement proactive corrosion monitoring and improved inspection and integrity plans resulting in reduction in LOPC (Loss Of Primary Containment) and identifying saves (near leak) that increases site availability
  • Advise inspectors on appropriate inspection strategy and inspection technique
  • Facilitate RBI workshops and provide corrosion evaluation for RBI workshops including defining corrosion loops, process description, identifying failure modes, assessing failure modes, inspection data and consequence assessment. Also identify and develop IOW (Integrity Operating Windows)
  • Provide Turnaround inspection and replacement scope
  • Facilitate and participate in causal learnings/root cause analysis workshops
  • Communicate directly with the refinery Integrity and Inspection team members
  • Communicate and co-ordinate reviews with Shell P&T and third party regulatory bodies
