Sony Electronics has an excellent opportunity for a Systems Integration Account Manager within Sony Professional Solutions of America based in either the New York Tri State Area or the Southeast (Atlanta).
This position is responsible for key system integrators across the U.S. with a production focus. This role is comprised of both selling as well as technical market development to drive sales of studio cameras, switchers, servers and other related Sony production products through the system integrators into the various Production Segments. This individual must possess the ability to speak on a technical level the benefits of Sony products and drive customer demand through training and product demonstrations to the system integration community. A strong understanding of how system integrators work and the ability to engage the engineering, production, and sales operations within these organizations is critical. In addition, the ability to work with and coordinate efforts with Sony Field Account Sales is critical in order to insure Sony success. A strong understanding of the Sony production product portfolio and how it stacks up against competitors is critical to this position’s success. In addition, ability to provide accurate forecast for existing business and drive internal activities all with the intent of providing better customer satisfaction and increasing sales. The System Integrator Account Manager will interface directly with the assigned integrator partners, internal marketing, engineering and demand planning groups in order to meet the goals and objectives of the company
- Previous experience working with System Integrators.
- Background and understanding of networking technology
- Must have 5 to 7 years related experience within the Broadcast, Sports Production, and or related field.
- BS degree is required or equivalent.
- Prior experience with creating and executing major account penetration plans.
- Must have a broad business background, strong problem solving skills, and demonstrated creativity in overcoming sales barrier.
- Must be able to make professional and compelling presentations; communicate effectively to large and small audiences; and have strong organization and time management skills.
- Consistent track record for exceeding company expectations.

The CRM and Web Marketing team at Sony Electronics manages digital experiences for consumers in the United States and Canada across multiple sites including the flagship sites at www.Sony.com and www.Sony.ca. We also manage broadcast and triggered campaigns across a range of media including email, direct mail, and addressable digital display. Our team supports Sony’s consumer electronics categories throughout North America, most notably Digital Imaging and Home Entertainment products. We are currently looking for a web developer who will be a key contributor and accountable for the appearance, and usability of the websites, landing pages, and emails we produce. You will partner closely with the rest of our team, other corporate groups, and the product marketing teams to deliver experiences that live up to our brand.
In this role you will design digital content that effectively communicates key messages, looks great on any screen or device, and fits the Sony brand. Your technical expertise will be used to create an outstanding experience that meets consumers’ expectations of Sony. Typical projects include but are not limited to: creating Out of Flow marketing pages, creating dedicated campaign landing pages, fitting copy and image assets into existing page templates, coding marketing emails, writing custom scripts to pull API data, and building custom data extensions and APIs in SalesForce.com’s Marketing Cloud platform.
You will partner with stakeholders to document requirements for look and feel, CTAs, messaging, tone, and KPIs. Using your strong interpersonal and communication skills you will listen closely and deliver products that meet their needs. You will be flexible when designs need revisions and responsive to tight deadlines and/or changing requests. Working with other internal and agency designers, you will share ideas about how copy, images, videos, and other material will be digitally optimized and best presented. You will perform quality checks and browser/device compatibility testing on all content, fixing errors as needed. You will work with Sony’s Information Security group to meet any applicable security requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree is required or equivalent, preferably in Interactive or Web development
- Must have 3-5 years related experience
- Experience with databases and object oriented programming languages (SQL, PHP) is a must.
- Experience with outside web services is a must.
- Experience developing on the SalesForce Marketing Cloud platform (formerly Exact Target) and with its AMPscript language is highly preferred
