TAX MANAGER

Job Description:
  • Under broad direction, manages a tax technical field of responsibility within transfer pricing.
  • Actively manage personnel tasked with creation of transfer pricing strategy and documentation for multiple jurisdictions around the world.
  • Acts as company advocate and advisor in one or more substantive areas of tax law, whether by subject matter or geography.
  • Manages audit defense of tax positions taken in regards to related-party transactions, in addition to considering planning opportunities to optimize company’s effective tax rate and/or cash tax position.

SR. SOURCING LEAD
Location: Houston, TX, US
Job Description:
  • Under broad direction, leads and supports global sourcing activities for multiple PSLs, manufacturing facilities, categories, and/or field operations. 
  • Leads, facilitates, and implements all sourcing activities through a combination of tactical and strategic sourcing initiatives particular to the needs and environment in which these activities occur. 
  • Provide input and compliance to all Halliburton policies and procedures, including those associated with International Trade compliance. Serves as the facilitation point between regional sourcing teams, PSLs, and other Supply Chain (Procurement, Materials & Logistics, Manufacturing, etc.) internal customers, when required, to ensure proper benefits, timelines, and deliverables are met.

SERVICE SPECIALIST I

Job Description:
  • Under general supervision, performs Artificial Lift (AL) installations and pulls, routine checks, and troubleshooting. Provides instruction and technical support to customer personnel in the proper handling and operating procedures of ALs.
  • Performs basic well production analysis and repair of AL equipment and tests, splices, and repairs cable. Prepares paperwork to include IFTA reports, billable and non-billable hours, and mileage. Trains and coaches new hires in basic principles. Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
