ASSISTANT - ADMINISTRATION.RAMP
Location: MCT International Airport
Job Description:
·         Carry out daily admin activities which include binding, photocopy and fax as per Senior Manager's requests ensuring timely completion of all requesting administrative activities.
·         Register, categorize, file and update all critical manuals and personal documents of the department to maintain their confidentiality and sort all incoming letters and ensure that all letters reaches the concerned personnel on time within the department.
·         Liaise with concerned internal/external parties as directed Senior Manager - Ramp as per incoming requests.
·         Coordinate with all sections within RAMP Services department and other divisions in Head Office as directed by Senior Manager – Ramp.
·         Liaise with Central Store and SCM to follow up on all ERP requisitions raised within the RAMP department for its timely delivery.
·         Liaise with Finance Department to follow up reimbursements for all staff travels in liaison with Human Resource and Administration department at the Head Office ensuring timely reimbursements are made to all employees upon completion of their duty travel.

·         Driving the Head of Department and appointed staff to appointments, and functions during the working day and after hours as necessary.
Job Requirements:
·         Secondary School with 4 years of relevant experience preferably in Airline/Ground Handling experience as Driver/Messenger in any major international airport.
SUPERVISOR
Location: MCT International Airport
Job Description:
·         Prepare and update staff allocation plan to ensure that all flights is being handled by adequate Turnaround Coordinators and adequate availability of supporting manpower (Equipment Operators, Drivers, Porters, Cleaners, etc.)
·         Check to ensure that all staff adhere to safety measures and dress code such as PPE and other related measures
·         Coordinate with Apron Services, Transport and Cabin Appearance sections to ensure that all ground equipment are operationally safe to use and liaise with GSEW to take necessary action steps for repair.
·         Coordinate with other departments involve in the turnaround handling of a flight.
·         Coordinate with the following sections for providing special services to VIP and VVIP
·         Transport and Cabin cleaning section: for carrying out cleaning services and proving special transportation.
·         Apron Services: for providing adequate manpower.
·         Baggage Handling Unit: for carrying out timely baggage handling services.

LEAD HANDYMAN
Location: MCT International Airport
Job Description:
·         Position holders are responsible for overseeing the offloading/loading activities at the aircraft.
·         Ensure availability of assigned/allocated porters at the aircraft.
·         Ensure that all activities are carried-out as per Loading Agent’s directive ensuring timely completion of all offloading/loading activities.
·         Report potential problems in aircraft offloading/loading to the Supervisor to ensure all potential problems are identified and addressed.
·         Position holders are responsible for overseeing the cabin cleaning activities at the aircraft.
·         Ensure availability all cabin cleaners and materials required in cleaning the aircraft.
·         Ensure that all activities are carried-out as per Supervisor’s directive ensuring timely completion of all cabin cleaning activities.
Job Requirements:

SUPERVISOR - LOAD CONTROL

Job Description:
·         Plan and schedule the roster of the staff for daily operations as per the total number of flights and as per the load-control license/qualifications of the staff to ensure optimal utilization of available talent
·         Monitor and oversee the daily operations to ensure adherence to safety regulations, airline procedures in  a efficient manner to minimize flight delays and enhancing on time performance
·         Update all necessary operational manuals in accordance with changes initiated by respective airlines to ensure all changes are reflected in the manuals in a timely manner
·         Conduct periodic checks on daily operations to ensure accuracy in passing EZFW, load planning and load sheet compilation and filing.
·         Carry out the OJT plan for load controllers and ensure validity of all licenses for each type of aircraft on a regular basis
·         Conduct periodic checks on daily turn around entries, load sheets and loading instructions to ensure conformity to the safety and airline regulations and accuracy of the load sheets.
·         Ensure dispatch charge form is updated in system for applicable service charges.
·         Conduct performance appraisal for direct reportees to ensure continuous improvement of talent.
·         Lead and guide subordinates by providing them with guidance, training and the required growth opportunities to ensure that subordinates are developed for higher-level roles.

COORDINATOR
Location: Muscat International Airport
Job Description:
·         Immediately on reporting for duty, check allocation sheet to know the flights that have been assigned
·         Check the ETA/ETD of his flights to enable to properly plan flights..  Minimum time required for advance preparation is 3 hours.
·         Determine the following:
·         Routing of the aircraft.
·         Assign the flight in departure control system and check type of aircraft configuration, hold version, etc.
·         Load control manuals/manual load sheet and trim sheets to be kept handy in case of system failure.
·         Then proceed with work firstly assigning flight to a printer.  Check number of crew operating this service and amend system accordingly.  Ramp to be informed of the ULD requirement for passenger baggage and amend the capacity calculation in the system and then release balance ULD’s for cargo and mail use.
·         Consult Ramp ULD control staff to determine number of empty units to be forwarded or the number of units to be notified.
·         Amend system generated load plan according to requirement taking into consideration of availability of equipment and manpower and also priority of off-loading of cargo in case of weight restrictions.
·         While planning load, to be very careful not to exceed any structural limitations in ULD’s or in aircraft compartments as it is highly irregular.
·         Obtain fuel figures from operations sections or the airline representative/crew  and enter it to the system

Job Description:
·         To liaise with the different airline clients to get the flight schedule and meal uplift prepare the catering schedule accordingly in advance before the summer and winter schedule.
·         Prepare the Ramadan, Haj and confirmed Adhoc flight catering schedules after confirming the meal uplifts.
·         Distribute the prepared schedule to all the respective sections within the catering unit to facilitate planning.
·         Encode the catering schedule along with the applicable meal uplifts in the in-house developed Tamween system to enable the Operations Coordinators to pass the KOT accordingly.
·         Update the Catering Schedule and the data in the in-house developed Tamween system whenever there is any change in the schedule or meal uplift changes and circulate the information to all sections within catering.
·         Update the menu files for all airlines and ensure that all the menu files in the operations office are up to date.
·         To liaise with the Food and Beverages section and Catering Finance to ensure that the correct information is encoded in the in-house developed Tamween system to facilitate billing and avoid any discrepancy.

SENIOR OFFICER

Job Description:
·         Conduct necessary research into consumer trends, end user requirements, performance criteria’s, production constraints, and brand goals and creatively translate these into service enhancements.
·         Effectively translate these constraints and create product briefs and specifications for tender covering all aspects of the cabin products for customer’s comfort and use including but not limited to Amenity Kits, dining and serving equipment, linens and soft furnishings.
·         Lead New Product Development (NPD) from concept, specifications, tender, costing analysis, negotiation, trials and launch.
·         Use design tools, methodologies and best practices to create new product ideas and concepts for further development
·         Liaise with suppliers to establish product configuration ensuring high quality and standard in an acceptable and timely manner.
·         Review suppliers/ vendors product documentation data and samples and recommend appropriate action acceptable to the Company taking into consideration of budgets, brand consistency, usability, lifecycle performance, ergonomics and any other criteria that may be appropriate.
·         Perform feasibility studies and generate a report with recommendations on changes to specifications.
·         Support the product and service development team in creating consistency and efficiency in the overall inflight experience, equipment and service flow.

·         Bachelor degree in Interiors Design, Industrial Design or Branding having 4 years of experience in a product development or brand agency. Aviation related experience is preferred and will be advantage.   OR Two years college Diploma in Interiors Design, Industrial Design or Branding with 6 years of experience.   OR Specialised certificate / training in the related field with Secondary School and having 10 years of WY experience in the similar field.   Must have ability to product design drawings in Adobe Illustrator.
MENU DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

Job Description:
·         Conduct necessary research into consumer trends within the food and hospitality industry and creatively translate these into service enhancements.
·         Design food and beverage specifications and guidelines suitable for Oman Air’s passenger profile, cultural and religious preferences and network.
·         Create exciting new cuisine concepts, and prepare these in the kitchen for tasting and review.  Champion new cuisine improvements through demonstration, coaching and testing with caterers.
·         Support the Manager of Menu Development on launch of all new concepts from specifications, menu presentations, costing review, negotiations and launch.
·         Work within budgetary constraints but willing and able to challenge caterers to meet the Oman Air standards.
·         Prepare menu descriptions and liaise with project teams for translation and editing.
·         Ensure that product specifications are accurately captured and documented. 
·         Monitor crew feedback against specifications and continuously improve in presentation and flavour profiles.
·         Support the design team in providing feedback on dining and serving equipment.
·         Conduct random catering inspection to ensure meal preparation and services are within HACCP standards.

FIRST OFFICER

Job Description:
·         Maintain familiarity with relevant Oman and International air legislation and agreed aviation practices and procedures;
·         Maintain familiarity with such provisions of the Company Operations Manual as are necessary to fulfil his function;
·         Assist the Commander as requested, concerning administrative duties in relation to the flight;

NG CAPTAIN

Job Description:
·         Be responsible for the safety and security of all crew members, passengers and cargo on board
·         Be responsible for the operation and safety of the airplane from the moment the airplane is ready to move for the purpose of taxing prior to taking off until the moment it finally comes to rest at the end of the flight and the engines are shut down
·         Be responsible for all flight documentation, and ensure that information regarding aircraft registration, date of flight, flight number, crew names and duty assignment, departure and arrival airports, ATD, ATA and flight time are all recorded.
·         Have authority to give all commands he deems necessary for the purpose of securing the safety of the airplane and of persons or property carried therein,
·         Have authority to refuse transportation or disembark any person, or any part of the cargo, which in his opinion, may represent a potential hazard to the safety of the airplane or its occupants;
·         Ensure that all operational and safety procedures and checklists are complied with, in accordance with the SOPs and Operations Manual;
·         Ensure that the weather forecast and reports for the proposed operating area and flight duration indicate that the flight may be conducted without infringing Company operating minima;
·         Take all reasonable steps to ensure that the airplane weight and balance is within the calculated limits for the operating conditions;
