TICKET DESK AGENT
Location: United States-Seattle
Job Description:
·         Be able to project the EK image at all times by being fully conversant with EK ticketing and fares procedures
·         Handle denied boarding situations including implementation of “ Options” scheme and EU Compensation procedures in order to retain customer confidence and loyalty.
·         To assist other Airport Services team members as and when required in a multi skilled work environment.
·         Undertake various administrative functions and other duties as directed from time to time by the Airport Services Manager or other members of the station management group.
·         Offer the full range of Emirates products and services to all passengers.
·         Issue tickets, MCO’s, Excess Baggage tickets, PTA’s to passengers on departure. Make/amend reservations as and when necessary. Re-issue tickets and recalculate fares for passengers changing itinerary and make any additional collections as required.
·         Complete daily ticket sales returns and ensure monies are banked.
·         Handle rebooking of flights, accommodation and issue FIM’s in the event of disruptions for EK and other airlines.
·         Assume responsibilities of the Ticket Desk Supervisors in their absence to ensure the Ticket Desk is operated efficiently and a professional ticketing service if provided to the passengers
Job Requirements:
·         Minimum High School Level or equivalent with proficiency in Geography and Mathematics. 
·         Have completed Intermediate courses in Reservations/Ticketing.
·         Minimum 2 years’ experience in Airport/travel agency with Airline Ticketing Functions.

















AIRPORT SERVICES AGENT
Location: Sri Lanka-Colombo
Job Description:
  • Working under the direction of the Airport Services Manager or Officer, to represent Emirates and enhance passenger service to both arriving and departing passengers.  Ensure all operational criteria is completed within specified time frames.
  • To be effective in co-ordination with all internal and external departments such as GHA, other airlines and various authorities at the airport as directed by the Airport Services Manager
  • Assist in the preparation and completion of pre and post flight documentation and statistical information.
  • Monitor the arrival immigration problems, retrieve relevant documentation and report accordingly
  • To use the Emirates reservations system and perform basic reservations duties.
  • Provide secretarial and administrative duties to the Airport Services Manager by responding to external/internal correspondence, taking minutes of meetings and screening incoming telephone calls where appropriate.
  • Create and maintain appropriate record and filing systems for easy retrieval and proper maintenance of records.

SUPERVISOR AIRPORT SERVICES
Location: Thailand-Bangkok
Job Description:
  • Deploying available Emirates resources to best advantage in order to satisfy passenger and operational requirements arising during each duty period.
  • Ensuring that Ground Handling Agent and other suppliers are fully briefed regarding EK requirements and that they deliver them in a timely and efficient manner so that the service handling proceeds smoothly and Emirates passengers’ expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Dealing with problems arising such as delays, disruptions, excess baggage or denied boarding including implementation of the ‘options’ scheme, within the guidelines provided by the Airport Services Manager in order to retain customer confidence and loyalty.
  • Investigating and responding to queries, complaints and claims received from various Head Office Departments or passengers direct, in an efficient and timely manner in order to restore passenger confidence.
  • Other duties as directed from time to time by the Airport Services Manager or Senior Airport Official on duty e.g. assistance with Immigration Fines (where appropriate), in order to meet the needs of the operation.
Job Requirements:
·         Educated to 'A' level standard or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Airport Ground Handling, with at least 2 years experience as a senior station assistant and with proven ability or aptitude to lead a team.
  • Must have completed relevant professional training courses. (Advanced courses in Passenger Services, Reservations & Ticketing, Ground Operations & Cargo, Weight and Balance, Baggage Services & Claims and Behavioral Skills etc.)

AIRCRAFT LOADING SUPERVISOR
Location: United Arab Emirates-Dubai
Job Description:
As the Aircraft Loading Supervisor, you will be required to safely coordinate arrival and departure below wing activities of the aircraft, by leading and briefing loading teams on the handling requirements and ground support activities and ensure alignment with the SLA’s, standard operating procedures and highlight any potential handling constraints.

Monitor the readiness of various ground services providers to ensure that all resources are available and that the equipment restricted area (ERA) is clear to receive inbound aircraft and deliver a safe on-time performance
Ensure that safety briefings are conducted regularly and that staff have the knowledge and confidence to work safely by providing support, direction and being a role model for the desired safety behaviours
Lead team of staff on the day of operations, undertaking all loading and equipment operation activities to safely handle all arrival & departure flights efficiently
Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
Implement day-to-day operations assigned and ensures compliance with the established standards and procedures

AIRPORT SERVICES OFFICER
Location: Australia-Sydney
Job Description:
·         Analyse anticipated operational problems such as overbookings, adverse weather conditions, delays, cancellation of flights, crew flight time limitations etc., undertaking necessary remedial action to ensure disruptions are minimised and the passenger service levels are not impacted.
·         Ensure that Handling Agent, caterers and other service providers are fully briefed regarding Emirates’ requirements for the day’s operation including any special handling, and update this information as necessary in order to ensure a smooth operation and avoid unnecessary expenditure and inconvenience to our passengers.
·         Control expenditure on damage baggage replacement and lost baggage claims.  Delegate some of the baggage claims processing to the Supervisors/ASAs, to ensure all of the baggage services aspects are processed effectively and in a timely manner.
·         Assist the Airport Services Manager in preparing and maintaining the staff duty roster and in preparing the staff annual leave plan as necessary and ensure staffing levels are optimised. 
·         Undertake various administrative duties delegated by Airport Services Manager including attending various meetings as directed and ensure Emirates interests/requirements are appropriately represented at such meetings.
·         Assist the ASM in Employee Regulation Programme and in conducting staff performance reviews in line with Performance Matters (i.e. setting staff’s objectives and development plan) and support, coach and guide staff members to ensure maintenance of passenger service and other standards such as grooming.
·         Manage and administer all operational/supervisory activities on a shift basis and ensure appropriate control of processes related to document and information consolidation (flight coupons, cargo, MCOs, cash vouchers, handling reports etc) in order to safeguard revenues; operational data and avoid discrepancies.

RAMP OPERATIONS TEAM LEADERS

Job Description:
·         Leading the allocated staff and managing the equipment. 
·         Overseeing the safe arrival and on- time departure activities (on-loading, off-loading and ground support) of the aircraft on the ramp.
·         Overseeing the accurate processing, storage and dispatch of both inbound and outbound Baggage, Cargo, Mail, Courier, and /or ULDs (Unit Load Devices).

LINE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
Location:  United Arab Emirates-Dubai
Job Description:
·         Provide engineering assistance overseeing Ground Equipment activities (Ground Power Unit, Air Conditioned Unit, Air Start Unit, axle jack, cherry picker, nitrogen trolley, brake cooling units efficiently and safely on a shift basis in order to meet the needs of the Emirates aircraft and other airlines operating through Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport.
·         Assist the Aircraft Technician/ Engineers as and when required for specific tasks (including but not limited to arrival & departure headset communication, walk around inspection, refuelling, oil replenishing) upon request from airlines to ensure timely turnaround of the aircraft. 
·         Effectively use specialised equipment that may be required as part of checking, testing, replacement or servicing of an aircraft system or component as instructed and supervised by the aircraft engineer.
·         Work independently across the wide geographical spread of the airport, liaising with all necessary parties (including but not limited to the captain, airline representative, aircraft engineer) in order to ensure that all the requests of the airline are provided on time and to ensure maximum customer satisfaction / maximisation of revenue.

·         Diploma (3 years) or Degree (4 years) in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or Airframe & Power Plant (A&P), or Avionics Engineering, or Aeronautical Engineering.
MAINTENANCE PLANNERS 
Location:  United Arab Emirates-Dubai
Job Description:
  • Attend to all breakdown calls from customer departments/ airlines and record the same with all details in MMS and convey the information to the workshop for necessary action. Also assign a work order number in order that the follow up action can be traced and any specific enquiry from the customer can be addressed.
  • Update the MMS system with all work details to plan material and manpower requirements- maximum utilisation of resources with minimum down time of critical operational ground support equipment.
  • On completion of the work, record the corrective action taken, initiate paperwork for applicable recharge and convey the information to the customers in order to provide a complete service to the customer as well as ensuring correct revenue collection through coordination with Airport/ Revenue Accounts.
  • Monitor the maintenance works at different sections in the workshop in order to update the work done in the history cards and assist preparing maintenance schedule.
  • Maintain the library of manuals in order that technicians & Maintenance Planners can refer to the manuals for maintenance procedures, spare parts requisition & cannibalisation etc. Ensure the technical service bulletins(TSB) are updated on the system and works orders for the TSBs are raised on time.
Job Requirements:
  • Must have 10 years schooling or ‘O’ level equivalent
  • In addition to the above, must have accumulative of minimum 3 years of Technical Education
