QUALITY MANAGER

Location: Qatar
Job Description:
Quality control, quality assurance, developing a management system fully compliant with local legislation and any applicable regulations and codes of practice, modeled around the requirements of ISO9001:2008 for Quality Management Systems’ and the underlying philosophy to promote a culture of continuous improvement and meets the policy requirements of the Client, the ISO compliance procedures and all the individual subjects set out below:
·         Review of the procedures related to the quality control and quality assurance of the works in delivery of a right first time policy.
·         Assistance in quality control and review of the quality assurance of the Contractor.
·         Training on the quality control and quality assurance procedures.
·         Assistance in Client procedures related to ISO compliance.
·         Manage the non-conformance process for effective resolution and process improvement, the formal review and approval, of all participating parties with regards to quality assurance and quality control across the whole project.
·         Verification and validation of the effective implementation of the quality plans by means of surveillance and audit of project activities and the associated records.
Job Requirements:

We are currently looking to appoint an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to become part of Exeter office design team. We are seeking individuals that thrive on the technical challenge of heavy civil engineering projects and have experience in the following type of schemes: water treatment works, wastewater treatment works, attenuation shafts, below ground chambers and large infrastructure schemes. You will need to be used to working on mulit-disciplinary projects with structural, mechanical, process engineers and enjoy working as part of collaborative teams.
Job Requirements:
  • Take the role as lead civil engineer (senior engineer grade)  or work under a lead civil engineer (engineer grade) to deliver all civil engineering design and technical input for heavy civil engineering projects.
  • Have experience of the design process in feasibility, outline and detailed design stages. Be the design interface for the contractor and client in the construction phase.
  • Have relevant technical skills for the water industry - e.g. Open channel and pipeline hydraulics, civil and structural engineering design, interface with other engineering disciplines
  • Understanding of the application, benefits and limitations of a wide range of solutions to problems

  • This candidate will support the Project Director in overseeing project design integrity, implementation of a rigorous design approach and design management methods to international best practice standards within the architecture team.
  • The role will also involve taking responsibility for integration of remaining design with the ongoing base build construction to deliver design excellence based on the project design brief and client required standards.

The San Antonio Asset Management Team is currently seeking a talented Project Manager - Water/Wastewater Engineer to begin training for replacement of current Asset Management Team Leader/Project Manager.  Water and Wastewater systems focus is desired, though adaptability and a desire to learn are key attributes of the successful candidate and you will be expected to perform tasks in support of a variety of projects, from regulatory compliance investigations to infrastructure assessments to design. Expectation of incumbent is that they will quickly be able to assume team leadership responsibilities for multifaceted projects. Our group’s main focus is Horizontal Infrastructure (largely utilities) Asset Management.  We perform asset inventories and condition assessments employing innovative field equipment and custom software applications for data acquisition, management and analysis.  From that data we develop risk-prioritized capital improvements and O&M planning, as well as conceptual to full designs and cost estimates for recommended actions.
Job Requirements:
·         Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years of utilities infrastructure experience (preferably water, sanitary sewer, storm water, electrical/telecomm)
