Description

To supervise overall PMV project based Tower crane activities together with productivity of drivers and monitor equipment, and site and report any problem to PMV Department.
Maximize utilization of company owned Tower Cranes, minimize maintenance time, and oversee correct use and care of Tower Cranes at site.
Coordinate for provision of daily PMV Time Cards to be approved by CM I PM of its corresponding projects I sites.
Education and Skills

Description

Overall planning, coordination, and control of a project from beginning to completion. Construction management is aimed at meeting a client's requirement in order to produce a functionally and financially viable project.
The engineering design and supervision (coordination) aspects of building a manufacturing facility. The engineering aspects of a specific project, such as development of a product or solution to a problem.
Collecting, analyzing, summarizing and evaluating various alternative courses of action to advise the management on the most appropriate course of action based on the cost efficiency and capability.
Acquiring goods or services to accomplish the goals of the company to maintain the quality and value of the company's products, minimize cash tied-up in inventory, maintain the flow of inputs to maintain the flow of outputs.

Support the BDD Business Development Director to explore new markets and enhance UCC’s presence and market share.
Support the Estimation and Proposal Director Direct in the submission of high standard of pre-qualifications for tenders and reports.
Understand and utilize UCC organization for programme management, preconstruction, cost engineering capabilities, Green initiatives, BIM, and other services.
Develop client lists, prospects and leads in focus markets, develop and maintain appropriate client contacts to build a professional and ethical business relationship leading towards the sale of UCC services.
Participate in the development of proposals, presentations, and submittal materials.
Coach and assist BDD personnel to ensure presentations are effective and work spirit high.
Take appropriate and timely actions to deliver client requirements prior to tender submissions in a manner that compliments operation’s personnel to ensure satisfied clients.
Appropriate actions include providing advice on delivery systems, liaison for pre-construction services, advance planning, (utilizing the resources of UCC).

Quantity Surveyor

Description

  • Ensure to prepare all details for payment application for inclusion in the main monthly application for certification. 
  • Ensure to assist in the preparation of contractual and commercial correspondence "Letter Writing". 
  • Ensure preparation of all claims for variations with all required substantial documents. 
  • Ensure to assist Sr. Quantity Surveyor in the preparation of the monthly cost value reconciliations, cost to complete reports and profitability projections. 
  • Ensure to prepare subcontracts on standard approved terms and templates. 
  • Ensure to follow up with subcontractors for their interim applications and quotations.
  • When preparing payment certificates for subcontractors ensure that they are valued for no more than the value certified from the client. 
  • Ensure to prepare all required documentation for changes to the scope of the works of subcontractors these are to be accompanied by signed off Variation Orders. 
  • Ensure to assist in Contractual and Commercial Support and Correspondence "Letter Writing" to Subcontractors. 
  • Ensure to coordinate with all the departments for the required details. 
  • Ensure that all financial / commercial and contractual procedure have been complied with. 
  • Ensure meeting attendance, liaison and support provided to all workshop department, subcontractors, supplier & consultants.  

Education and Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / equivalent.
