Customer commercial Executive
Location: Hong Kong
Description
Provide an office based contact point for designated cluster key accounts, following up rate sheets, CRAs,    filing of contracts, and providing service updates as required.
Dealing with queries/requests from key accounts, and ensure they are addressed as appropriate within the organisation and responses given within agreed timelines.
Provide support for the Cluster Key Accounts Manager as required, in particular initiating sales action when required at short notice with agencies to address shortfalls in key accounts, following up SRRs to ensure that they are acted upon properly by agents
Familiarize organization network and system procedure to performance daily rate, CRAs filings and provide timely update to KA customers
Develop close relationship with KA customers as to follow up their enquires and generate sales leads
Keep close contact with customers and also our agency/office to ensure requests and issue are addressed appropriate and to satisfy our key customers
Assist Key Account Manager during their business trip and undertake the activity on behalf as to maintain a consistent support or assist to the team and customers
Carry out specific research and prepare reports in respect of sales and related activities (including customer’s activities/business, business sectors, competition etc.) as requested by Cluster Key

Financial Control Executive

Description




Prepare elements of annual budgets for overhead and operational costs in the Cluster.
Produce timely and reliable management information reports on a monthly basis for financial items under the Cluster’s control.
Identify variances against budgets for cost item and conduct gap analysis for the Cluster Financial Control Manager.
Review agency cash-flow forecasts.
Produce reports for Trade Management as agreed on trade specific costs within the Cluster.
Use and maintain the accounting system and the reporting system at the Cluster level.
Assist Cluster Financial Control Manager to oversee the implementation of UASC policies and procedures in owned/JV agencies so as to standardize the processes followed by owned/JV agencies globally.
Assist Cluster Financial Control Manager to implement standard KPIs to measure and monitor agency
performance, and report of any deviations from agreed benchmarks.
Update Contract/tariff and manage the authorization function of WDL to agencies through “Cost Cycle”
program in the TRUST.
Assist in reviewing all terminal, feedering, and cost related contracts and suggest cost saving
measures to the Cluster Operations Managers.
Review and update costs in the Pricing Contribution system.
Monitoring invoicing of Detention & Demurrage in TRUST Detention and Demurrage module and following up with the Agents for collection.
Qualifications
University degree in finance.

Description

Sales Support Executive
Location: Americas
Description
Provide support, with the guidance of the Sales Support Manager, to the external sales team for all pricing related activity namely:
Deliver quotations to customers based on published/tariff rates
Propose quotations in accordance with discretionary tariff, and associated procedures, and obtain authorization(s) as required
Submit SRRs to Trade Management (Pricing and Yield Team), when required, and provide approved quotations to customers
Ensure all non-tariff quotations/rate requests are first validated against contribution/yield data to justify proposed rate level
Review customer response/outcome of all rates offered, and take follow up action as needed
Provide general support, with the guidance of the Sales Support Manager, to the external sales team, namely:
Provide commercial in-house back up for outside sales
Take follow-up action as a result of sales calls/customer contact
Maintain liaison with regular/known customers periodically
Ensure proper maintenance of centralised customer lists

Qualifications
Relevant experience and evidence of successful delivery of sales support activities are more important than formal qualification, but minimum expectation of graduate level or equivalent is an advantage
        

Equipment Control Coordinator
Location: United States
Description
Under the direction of the National Equipment Control Coordinator, manage the control of equipment inventory, execute equipment distribution, and empty movement within the designated geographical area in the USA, in line with the Cluster plan as advised by the Assistant Manager CMD and agreed between the National Equipment Manager and Assistant Manager CMD, in the most cost effective manner while maintaining service levels to customers
Update location and status of equipment within geographical region in system accurately and in a timely matter.
Follow up on overdue containers and perform frequent equipment inventory reconciliation within control areas in order to avoid any extra costs.
Identify containers that may be lost, damaged, misplaced, or misused and flag to National Equipment Control Supervisor for appropriate action. Report damaged containers to M & R staff.
Contribute to the preparation of the Cluster container stock and distribution plan by communicating regional requirements, issues, or concerns to the National Equipment Control Supervisor
Advise Cluster staff on supply of equipment in specific locations to meet customer requirements
Under the supervision of the National Equipment Control Supervisor, plan and dispatch empty equipment for repositioning in designated region. Assist in seeking out lowest rates for empty positioning with local trucking contacts.
Assist customers with issues related to cargo holds, demurrage, per diem, and gate issues.
Assist in updating the Cluster's Commercial Imbalance Report in TRUST – review with National Equipment Control Supervisor as required
Maintain and create haulage port master codes in TRUST and send for approval to the National Equipment Control Supervisor
