Bakken Midstream Lead      
Location: United States

The primary objective of this position is to ensure the reliable, safe, effective, and efficient transportation of petroleum production from wells in the Bakken area to treatment facilities via midstream infrastructure. Role responsibilities include accountability for the operation and maintenance of midstream facilities, such as oil terminals, compressor stations, and saltwater disposal facilities, and optimization of existing infrastructure for optimized reliability. Emphasis is placed on optimization of operating expenses to maximize value creation. This position requires a candidate to possess strong leadership skill and the ability to remotely lead a team located in the Williston, ND basin comprised of superintendents for plants and pipelines, foremen, and various contracted operators. This position is based in Austin, TX reporting directly to the Midstream, Facilities, and Special Projects Team Leader.
Task and Responsibilities:
Lead a team of plant, facilities, and pipeline supervisors, foremen, and operators tasked with the execution of all plant and pipeline operations and maintenance activities in a safe manner, complying with all Statoil safety policies and procedures, government regulations, industry standards, and common practices.
Support pipeline DOT compliance activities.
Lead the development of the Bakken Midstream OPEX annual budget and develop processes to monitor and manage spending.
Identify and develop initiatives based on design and operational enhancement opportunities to ensure high levels of regularity and minimal downtime.
Execute inflow performance analysis to assist in artificial lift design, chemical programs, water management, etc.
Perform and provide necessary support for additional special project initiatives and duties as directed by Line Management and business needs.
Support continuing pipeline operations, maintenance, and integrity programs and any optimization opportunities to increase value and enhance flow assurance.
Collaborate with Statoil’s Marketing, Midstream, and Pipeline group to ensure accurate gas and condensate sales commitments and regular communications to sustain and enhance product value.

Collaborate with other groups such as Reservoir Engineering, Drilling and Completion Engineering, Facilities, HSE, Regulatory, Production Accounting, and others to ensure maximum value creation.

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of (10) ten years of facilities and/or operations experience, working with a producer/operator or service provider required.
Strong background in onshore midstream operations, including the operation of gathering and transmission pipelines, oil and gas processing plants, and other intermediate facilities required.
Strong understanding of oil and gas production and its impact on midstream operations required.
Experience required regarding a wide range of surface equipment associated with midstream gathering and processing including gas and condensate/oil gathering, gas treatment and compression, condensate stabilization and storage, and gas and condensate measurement and sales.
Strong MS Office skills: Excel spreadsheets, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook.
Travel to the field to support operations as needed.

Principal Analyst IT
Location: United States
Establish and lead a team of in-the-field IT professionals and drive re-design of the IT support structure and processes for field IT solutions.
Review and manage contracts related to field IT support
Understand the IT (corporate network) related needs at Statoil’s onshore field offices, plants and other related locations and proactively work to ensure those needs are met.
Assist in-the-field IT support personnel and be their link into Statoil’s larger IT organization.

Supply Chain Analyst

The Contract Support Analyst posting is for a role on the Onshore Operation & Maintenance SCM team, located in Austin, TX.
The role works closely with Strategic SCM Analysts, Operational SCM Analysts, Safety and Sustainability (SSU) teams and Statoil Legal to enable the purchase of goods and services by ensuring Supplier pre-qualifications are complete and suppliers are prepared to submit invoices to Statoil.
