Team Leader
Location: U.A.E
• Coaching and motivating the transport planning team.
• Solving issues and first level escalations.
• Interacting with Customer Service for optimum load and carrier selection and communicate any potential issues affecting pickup and/or delivery agreements.
• Maintaining communication with transport service providers to place transport orders, receive confirmation, monitor important milestones.
• Planning and optimizing single and multi-leg (e.g. ocean and airfreight) and single and multi-segment (e.g. stop-offs) shipments.
• Requesting quotes for shipments that do not fall under existing transport contracts or are in a category that requires additional quotes.
• Booking planned and final transport orders with the selected carrier and follow up in case of issues.
• Checking and completing required documentation to ensure smooth pickup, delivery and customs clearance
• Managing and dispatching local fleet operations in any areas they are present. Ensuring that drivers are monitored and that customer service is provided on any local delivery needs and on all dedicated business.
• Calculating total transportation lead time and transport cost.
• Understanding different planning techniques including the functionality of transport management systems and load planning tools.
• Local transport market knowledge including equipment, port and airport operations as well as relevant restrictions and regulations.
• Knowledge of local regulations and legislation.
• Carrier operating model knowledge.

As the ideal candidate, you will have a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or logistics management from an accredited university / college, freight forwarding degree or 04 years of experience in transportation / supply chain experience is preferred, 04 years related experience in production scheduling, distribution, materials and inventory planning is preferred, Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple time sensitive tasks in a dynamic environment, Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with customers as well as with Logistics Service Providers, i.e. freight forwarders, transport and other fleet provider personnel, Strong written and verbal communications skills, Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, Knowledge of Department of Transportation rules and regulations is a plus, Advanced desktop computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Outlook required, Experience in working with advanced TMS platforms such as Oracle TM, JDA TMS, INET, etc. preferred, Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency, Team player with flexibility in working different shifts, Planning (APICS or ELA) Certification is a plus.
Service Specialist
Location: U.A.E

• Commissioning and service of control and protection systems, 
• Co-ordinate activities with other team members and lead commissioning and service engineer.
• Ensure proper site time keeping.
• Obtain approvals from utilities for commissioning and service activities within 12-24 months
• Prepare weekly site reports and time sheets to be submitted to lead Commissioning &/or Service engineer.
• Ensure HSE standards are maintained and wearing of PPE.
• Ensure safety training are kept up to date.
• Prepare and summaries information required for any claims (Internally or externally)
• Ensure correct and efficient Commissioning & Service process and improving the overall duration.
• Preparation of all internal work, configurations, scheme checks etc.
• Commissioning & Service of Bus Bar protection, main relays, Backup relays, Bay Control Units (BCU's), AVR and FMS systems.
• Able to do on-site engineering and to implement changes.

Provides technical support and solves problems in own expertise area via remote or on-site service in all the Service category for motors and generators (installation and commissioning; maintenance; repairs; engineering and consulting; advanced services; extensions, upgrades and retrofits; end of life services , replacements, etc.).

Investigates customer needs through professional consulting. Provides technical consulting on Service solutions to management and customers.

Determines effective Service applications, equipment and methods to develop, market or manufacture new Service offerings to respond to customer requirements cost effectively.

Manages customer relationships and maintains regular contacts with key customers. 

Identifies new sales opportunities, proactively communicating both with the customer and ABB sales teams to ensure customer needs are understood and business opportunities utilized for Service growth.

Conducts specialist support and advisory service for Sales team.
Degree/ Diploma in Engineering.
Minimum 4 years of experience in similar industry including hands on experience of servicing motors and generators
Technical Knowledge - In-depth knowledge of motors and generators servicing and repair.
Application of motors and generators in ATEX environment

Field Service Engineer
Location: Singapore
Participates in and supports the implementation of the service leading practices. 

Executes technical support and solves problems in own expertise area.

Manages, coordinates and performs service projects internally and externally. 

Proactively identifies potential equipment failures and requests proactive corrective actions

Testing and commissioning of Low Voltage Switchgear according to the specifications and design requirement

On-demand, maintenance, upgrade and modernization services according to schedule, contracts and specifications.

Provide technical support on product/ system to customers and resolve problems efficiently to
minimize system downtime.

Troubleshoot and repair equipment, applying own knowledge and experience.

Project Engineer
Location: Singapore
Project management: Work closely with Project stakeholders, End user, customer, supplier, internal departments to execute project from sales handover, engineering, FAT to SAT as according the schedule.

Reduce cost, improve margin, minimize risk, manage the contract dealing with upstream customer and downstream supplier, ensure quality of system and achieve customer satisfaction.
