REGULATORY AFFAIRS INVESTIGATOR
Location: US-TX-Dallas
Job Description:
  • Responsible to properly investigate accidents and incidents below NTSB reportable criteria for the non-punitive purposes of Safety and process improvement.
  • Notify the appropriate Southwest Airlines Leadership of letters of investigation, voluntary self disclosures, and inquiries and concerns received from regulators.
  • Represent Technical Operations in joint investigations with other departments at Southwest Airlines.
  • Create written reports and presentations for the purpose of sharing facts gathered in an investigation.
  • Serve as the formal communications and contact point between Southwest Airlines Technical Operations and regulatory entities.
  • Establish and maintain a working relationship with the Federal Aviation Administration and other regulatory entities that inspire trust and confidence.
Job Requirements:

RAMP AGENT

Job Description:

PROVISIONING AGENT

Location: US-IL-Chicago
Job Description:
  • Provides friendly service to and maintains positive relationships with all internal and external Customers.
  • Works in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of our Company. 
  • Works in warehouse, preparing items for stocking and operating forklift and pallet jacks as necessary. Packs and repacks liquor, beer, wine containers and completes inventory with an electronic device.
  • Loads and stores multiple bags of ice for loading onto provisioning trucks.  Handles 30 or more bags of ice a day per shift.
  • Prepares perishable items for stocking on aircraft.
  • Reviews flight information to plan for snack flights.  Consolidates snacks which are consumed for future flights.  Packs and repacks entertainment kits and assures aircraft is equipped with such kits.

OPERATIONS AGENT - PART-TIME

Location: US-WI-Milwaukee
Job Description:
·         Prepares dispatch release forms and collects weather reports from OTIS for the Crew; 
·         Arranges for fueling of aircraft as required; 
·         Prepares weight and balance forms; 
·         Advises Dispatch, FLIFO and Stations of flight departures / arrivals; 
·         Closes out flights; files and maintains accurate flight papers; 
·         Coordinates special services needed on aircraft such as servicing lavatories, cabin grooming, wheelchairs for Customers and special emergency cleaning; 
·         Operates boarding bridge, coordinates boarding and deplaning Customers;

GROUND EQUIP MECHANIC

Job Description:
  • Diagnosis and repair of many varied types and makes of automotive, ramp, provisioning, and dicing equipment utilized within the airline industry.
  • Performance of preventative maintenance on airline ground equipment.
  • Maintenance, repair, and an understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in arc, gas, and MIG welding, as well as cutting torch.
  • Ability to perform minor or major body repair, and spray paint proficiently.
  • Attends initial and ongoing training (classroom and/or on-the-job) and keeps current on knowledge, information and equipment to gain proficiency in their work.
  • Works as a member of lean staff operating out of cities served by the airline.
  • Wears visual identification required by the Company, prominently displayed above the waist for ready recognition.

SAP SECURITY SUPPORT ANALYST

Job Description:
  • Supports SAP security design for SAP ECC, Portal, and GRC to ensure that all application modules are functional and secure.
  • Ensures alignment with security policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Collaborates with Technology on the development and maintenance of SAP security policies and procedures based on industry-standard best practices.
  • Keeps current with emerging SAP Security or GRC alerts and issues.
  • Attends formal training sessions and/or conferences to enhance skills relevant to position.
  • Evaluates new processes and systems for gaps, risks, or improvements to security processes, and makes recommendations for aligning with the SAP Program and controls structure.

Job Description:
  • Responsible for providing Legendary Customer Service to people desiring to travel by determining and recommending the service that meets the Customers' needs.
  • Communicates with Customers by telephone, or through electronic channels, to furnish information regarding fares, schedules, routings, flights and availability of space for travel on Southwest Airlines.
  • Provides support for Customers navigating on southwest.com and Travel Agencies.
  • Finalizes sales of Southwest Airlines flights, sells ancillary products, confirms reservations, and provides information regarding ticket purchase and other special services.
  • Answers Customer inquiries regarding flight arrivals, delays, cancellations, flight irregularities, facilities, and other general information.
  • May be assigned a Service Desk classification performing Customer resolutions or communicating to Customers through enhanced communications.
