Business Development Coordinator
Location: Dubai
Description
·         Coordinates with all departments to ensure relevant information is passed swiftly between each i.e stores, retail, gate house, etc
·         Maintains the highest standard of professionalism, ethics and attitude towards clients and colleagues.
·         Preparation and distribution of daily, weekly and monthly reports within the department and external departmental obligations to contribute towards such reports
·         Maintains company standard policies on administrational duties (e.g. Guest Comments File, Purchase Requests, monthly training hours summary, etc.)
·         Filing in the department is handled professionally, systematically and is clearly labelled
Education
In order to be considered for this role, you must have gained a college Degree and will possess a minimum of 1 year experience as Sales Coordinator in Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events. Experience of working in a 5 star hospitality environment would be viewed as highly desirable. You will have good administration, communication, time management and organizational skills, as well as the capability to multitask and strong attention to detail. You will also be a team player with effective analytical skills. Your interpersonal and customer service ability will be excellent.
Proficiency in computer software systems such as MS Office and Opera is essential as are excellent communication skills in written and spoken English. Fluency in other language such as; Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Spanish, French, Italian and German is an added advantage


Shift Engineer
Location: Dubai
Description
We are recruiting for an experienced Multi skilled Shift Engineer to join our Engineering Team. In this role you will be responsible for carrying out corrective and preventive maintenance on all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and audio visual plant and equipment throughout the property. Dealing with minor repairs to the building fabric, decorative finishes and furnishing and fittings throughout the apartments. To endeavour to meet and exceed residents needs and expectations during their stay.
Education
To be considered for this role, you must hold a trade certificate (plumbing and electrical based would be preferred) and you will have at least two years experience in a similar role within a 4 or 5 star hotel. 
Working a 42 hour week, on rota bases including weekends.

Staff Cafeteria

Description
·         Organize together with the Chef de Partie shifting in the section with regard to mise enpace production and its service.
·         Take orders from his/her Chef de Partie and carry them out in the correct manner.
·         Responsible for completing the daily checklist regarding mise-en-place and food storage.
·         Together with his/her Chef de Partie write daily food requisitions and kitchen transfers on the appropriate forms for the approval of Executive Chef/Executive Sous Chef in order to achieve the high stock rotation desired in his/her section.
·         Maintain good colleagues relations and motivate colleagues




Education
·         1 years as Commis Chef/Apprenticeship in Similar operation

Demi Chef De Partie -Staff Cafeteria

Description
·         Assist the Chef de Cuisine/Sous Chef (or any designates) to develop standard recipes which allow the kitchen department to operate at an acceptable cost.
·         Assist Chef de Cuisine/Sous Chef (or any designates) to maximize colleagues productivity in order to minimise payroll costs.

Director of Finance
Location: Dubai
Description
·         Responsible for all aspects of the financial management of the property, which includes administering accounting polices & procedures, following procurement practices and procedures, preparing and interpreting financial statements and management reports, budgetary control and all legal/contractual matters to ensure compliance with Jumeirah standards.
·         Driving the annual budgeting and forecasting process to ensure all departments are delivering according to the approved targets.
·         Leading the Finance team in order to drive improved performance and develop talent to create solid succession planning within the SBU and beyond for Jumeirah.
·         Providing value added business performance reporting to give the operations the tools to identify areas for improvement.
·         Ensuring a detailed understanding of local accounting and tax rules and ensure all reporting is in compliance with company directives.
Education

In order to be considered for this role you will possess an internationally recognised formal qualification in the Finance field.  Candidates who are CFA, ACCA, BAHA qualified will be considered favourably.
In order to back up your theoretical knowledge, you must be able to demonstrate a minimum of two years experience of working in a similar role, ideally in the hospitality industry. Experience in an island resort would be viewed as highly desirable.


Chef de Cuisine

Location: Dubai
Description
·         Ensuring proper daily preparation of menu items with the kitchen stations to exceed guest satisfaction and expectation.
·         Instructing the correct usage of kitchen equipment and machinery and to check that this is carried out in the correct manner by all Kitchen colleagues as set out by the health & safety regulations and correct the usage if necessary.
·         Completing material checklist e.g. mise-en-place within own department.
·         Checking each section daily to ensure work has been carried out in the proper manner.
Education

In order to be considered for this role you should hold a recognised culinary qualification and have experience of running a kitchen in a 5 star hotel.  Ideally you will also have Middle Eastern/Arabic cuisine experience.
As well as possessing the appropriate technical skills, you will have a passion for and a proven track record of producing the highest quality cuisine.  With the ability to develop menus and set standard recipes you will also be self motivated and willing to share your expert knowledge with the team.  You will understand all the commercial aspects of a business and be able to work with budgets.


Outlet Manager

Description
·      Closely monitors the cashiering function of the outlet to ensure compliance with JI Cashiering Procedures and support spot audits.

Education

·         In order to be considered for the role, you will have gained a diploma or degree in hotel management and have at least 3 years experience on Food & Beverage in a management level within a high quality restaurant in a 5* hotel.
·         It is also essential that you have strong administration and management skills, has the ability to up sell and train colleagues, very hands on and supportive in achieving the common  team goals.
·         You must be well versed in financial aspects and knowledgable in Micros Point of Sale system.  Fluency in second language other than English is desirable.


Learning and Development Manager
Location: Dubai
Description
·         Drive compliance in the business unit with the Jumeirah HR processes related to training and development to ensure that the business unit is applying Jumeirah training processes and standards in a way that is consistent with other business units and is adopting best practice wherever identified
·         Drive the compliance of Jumeirah Learning Centre in terms of ensuring the Service Level Agreement is achieved
·         Be a Business Partner to the Resort by meeting regularly with departments and providing support where necessary
Education
In order to be considered for this role, you will have formal qualifications in learning, training and development related field. CIPD certification / licensed facilitator of Franklin Covey courses, MBTI Test, EQ test, or psychometric/ability assessment certification will be highly desirable.
You will possess a min of 5 years’ experiences in a training role and min 3 years in supervising or managing a team. You shall have the experience in the delivery of supervisory level courses, as well as, facilitation of group and task trainer assessments


Business Development Executive
Location: Dubai
Description
·         Proactively manage a pre-determined number of accounts to ensure maximum yield in rooms and F&B revenue in line with hotel budgetary objectives.
·         Proactively prospect new accounts for the Hotel and convert them into producing accounts.
·         Carry out regular product trainings, site inspections and client entertainments to raise product knowledge of potential and existing clients and partners.
·         Ensure that all activities are performed in accordance to Jumeirah standards and the Jumeirah Quality Management System.
Education
In order to be considered for this role, you must have gained a college Degree and will possess a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role in a 5 Star luxury hotel. You should be good at English and Mandarin verbally and writening. You will also be a team player with effective analytical skills.
