Job Description :
As the brand ambassador working within an assigned store, SRE Representatives contribute to increasing the market share of Sony products within their assigned commercial zone by maintaining and enhancing staff and customer relationships on the sales floor. The SRE Rep maximizes Sony’s sell out potential by implementing and supporting a wide range of activities within the retailer.

Typical duties include:
  • 100% In-store actions
  • Interact with store management and associates (in-person, online and by phone) on a regular schedule
  • Execution of product planograms and displays
  • Ensure proper stock levels are maintained and that the merchandise is displayed appropriately with proper signage and favourable shelf placement, and is in good working order
  • Implement promotionalPOP material/pricing within the store
  • Conduct product and sales training to store management and staff
  • Provide superior customer experiences that translate into increased direct sales within the store (this includes selling to consumers on the retail sales floor)
  • Assist with retailer sales and VIP events
  • Provide key insights on the Sony business and identify business opportunities by monitoring performance results, inventory levels and competitive trends





  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Relationships - Build strong strategic partnerships between Sony and the retailers at all levels within the assigned commercial zone
  • Merchandising – Ensure that all Sony products are set up to maximise the customer experience and all promotional materials/campaigns are in place for key events
  • Training – Develop the retail sales staff into gurus for all Sony products and categories utilizing in-store displays, on-line material and training events to drive step selling to premium products therefore delivering higher profits
  • Competitor Awareness - Understand competitors equivalent products and pricing in the market place
  • Sell Thru - Promote and sell Sony products directly to customers within the store and gauge the results versus competitors
  • Communication - Plan and prepare monthly, weekly and daily activities and share the results with the Sony sales manager for each retailer
  • Commercial Zone – Own all functions to ensure that the assigned commercial zone is achieving the market share targets
  • Spoken fluency in Mandarin is an asset.
